The Brief: for student guides to Shakespeare texts and a popular modern play, I decided to create a logo and a set of covers that identified them as a range, whilst giving each an individual flavour that suggested something about the text.
The overall appearance needed to suggest reliability and knowledge, so took the form of an old book. The quirkiness of the Publisher’s brand is reflected in the logo and typefaces, and in the images chosen to accompany each book.
The books will initially be published as downloadable ebooks, later as paperbacks.
